Found this little one at the Blue Heron Bridge today.
The Sexy Shrimp is also commonly known as the High Tailed Shrimp,  Anemone Shrimp and Squat Shrimp. It is also referred to as the Dancing Shrimp due to the way it moves its body. They move by walking slowly across the sea floor but when fleeing from a predator, they swim backwards quickly by curling and uncurling their abdomen. This is known as the caridoid escape reaction.

Dwarf Frogfish (Antennarius pauciradiatus) spend most of their life living in shallow tropical and subtropical water worldwide. They're ambush predators who use lures to attract their prey; they then gulp and swallow up the fish as the fish passes by.

Slow-motion filming has shown that Frogfish suck in prey in 6 milliseconds! It's so fast that other animals cannot see it happen. Blink and you'll miss it too.

This guy was chilling at Blue Heron Bridge today, just north of the East bridge.

An octopus is a cephalopod mollusc of the order Octopoda. It has two eyes and four pairs of arms and, like other cephalopods, it is bilaterally symmetric. An octopus has a hard beak, with its mouth at the center point of the arms. An octopus has no internal or external skeleton, allowing it to squeeze through tight places. Octopuses are among the most intelligent and behaviorally flexible of all invertebrates.

9 random facts about Seahorses

1. Seahorses live in almost every ocean around the world.

2. A seahorse looks like a mix of lots of other creatures - a horse head, an

aardvark’s snout, chameleon like eyes, a kangaroo pouch and a monkey’s
tail.

3. Seahorses can change color which helps them fend of predators.

4. The male seahorse has a pouch on its stomach in which to carry babies, as many as 2,000 at a time.

5. Male seahorse pregnancies last anywhere from 10 to 25 days.

6. Seahorses make noise and you can hear it underwater! It sounds just like

a human smacking their lips.

7. Seahorses are a beloved and majestic creature and there is mythology

about them worldwide.

8. Seahorses are in danger! Due to over fishing, medical use and changing

oceans, these mesmerizing creatures are declining in numbers - some
species are already extinct.

9. Seahorses like water between 76 and 85 degrees so they can live just
about anywhere.

Come dive Blue Heron Bridge with us and see these gorgeous guys for yourself!
