Winter...
To most of the USA it means snow, cold and icy conditions. It means shutting down pools and frozen over lakes. Unless you're a polar bear or penguin, it means you're not likely to be teaching or certifying divers in a freezing cold lake. Or does it? As you may know, West Palm Beach, Florida has a perpetual summer - it's rarely too cold to jump in the ocean and pools are open year round.
