Little Star received word that Mr. Seahorse was about have his babies. Visiting Mr. Seahorse meant Little Star would have to travel from one side of the ocean floor to the other. Little Star was afraid he wouldn't make it -- it was too far to travel but he really wanted to visit Mr. Seahorse, so he came up with a plan. Little Star rocked and rocked and rocked and rocked until he was standing up on his tippy toes. Shaking, and a little scared, he leaned forward and rolled onto his next tippy toe. He kept pushing and pushing until he was cartwheeling across the sea bed at top speed! Little Star made it to Mr. Seahorse's house just in time to see Mr. Seahorse's babies and he had an amazing story to tell about his clever new way to move around their underwater world. That day, Little Star learned that if there's something you want really bad, you'll find a way to do it. - Karlenea p.s. We told you, life is better underwater ;) |
